It was a good game. HCA had an undefeated season 9-0, coming into the Championship. They are the second team in Hernando County since 1949 who have had an undefeated season.
We had a great fan turnout, we were loud and happily cheering our guys on. If we quited down at all, then some of the players would turn towards us and signal for us to start hollering again. I would say that they were definately psyched up for this game. It was great to know that these guys pulled it together and had such a great season. They lost some of their "star" players and with this type of season, it feels kinda good to be able to look at those guys (whose team, Hernando High, went 3-7 for the season) and say "See what ya missed, thought you were to good for us didn't you, and look what we did without you."
Anyways..................................it was a good season and we enjoyed going to the games. Hopefully, next season will be just as good. (Although we lose 7 Seniors, who are our offensive line)
